Tips on how to set up a Wireless Network
The information here is aimed at helping you to set up an invisible network in your home. We think you already have a broadband link with a modem that connects directly to your computer.

Setting Up the actual Wireless Network
Step 1… Setup the router
It is always better to have one computer on the system hard-wired into the router. Creating the Wireless Network

When windows loads, you must see a small icon inside the system tray that claims wireless network detected. Select this, view the available wi-fi network, and select the main one you have set up on the router. The computer should be able to connect to that and adjust the security settings to fit those of the router, i. e. the encryption important your router produced must now be entered.
To create a notebook PCMCIA credit card, refer to the printed guidebook with your card and put in the software from the COMPACT DISK. Turn off the notebook and plug in the card to an available slot on the side of the notebook computer. Turn on the notebook, and the hardware should be detected, and wireless networks should be seen. Select your network and enter the Key provided by your router as you do on a Computer.
Step three… Running Windows XP multilevel setup wizard
To run the wizard often, click Start > My Network Sites. On the left, you should see a spine that says Set Up a residence or Small Office Multilevel. Run the wizard in addition to following the onscreen instructions. Do this again on all machines for the network, entering the same details each time.
Congratulations, you have now efficiently set up a wireless network.
