Huron Capital’s buy-and-build strategy recently expanded into the adhesives industry with the launch of Brudner Polymer Corp, marking their sixth ExecFactor partnership, partnering with seasoned executives to pursue and fund businesses poised for growth through bolt-on acquisitions.

Brudner, which has its headquarters in Michigan, will acquire and run the existing business of an unnamed seller with a presence across both regions. They plan to rebrand it under their brand and may pursue add-on acquisitions to drive organic growth.

Huron Capital recently completed its inaugural transaction under its 2022 investment plan, emphasizing value-based investing and an expansion in target market size. Additionally, additional investments should be made in companies with the potential to generate high-yielding cash flow at attractive valuations, along with the expansion of the ExecFactor program.

Huron Capital recently unveiled its 25th ExecFactor(r) platform, an exclusive, thematic investment model whereby it teams with experienced CEOs to pursue buy-and-build strategies in specific sectors. Current investments include Albireo Energy, Brudner Polymer Corp. Pure Dental Brands, Ronnoco Coffee, and Valentus Specialty Chemicals.

ExecFactor recently unveiled Enterprise Application Services (EAS) with industry veteran Gene Chao. EAS provides comprehensive service offerings designed to transform and optimize business applications to produce positive outcomes and unlock data across an enterprise. As more applications are being utilized by businesses today, many are not optimized or aligned properly with optimal business processes, thus requiring manual intervention to realize their full potential.

Detroit-based Huron Capital recently established its sixteenth ExecFactor(r) investment platform: High Street Partners is an insurance agency acquisition firm established to acquire more commercial and personal lines insurance agencies. So far, High Street Partners has successfully developed two agencies based out of Michigan: Peterson McGregor & Associates (PMA), providing commercial coverage, and New York American Benefits on Long Island, providing personal lines and employee benefits coverage.

ExecFactor Capital Partners also invested in seven smaller, existing portfolio companies that will be added to the ExecFactor platform, such as Sciens Building Solutions – a full-service fire and life safety provider; Pueblo Mechanical & Controls, which provides HVAC installation, retrofit, and repair services; and Innovative Mechanical Systems serving plumbing services customers throughout Phoenix metropolitan area. Furthermore, Lab Crafters was also acquired, making laboratory furniture in New York. This transaction took place in September 2022.

ACI Mechanical Service Company, an AMC Union mechanical services provider, specializes in servicing, repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation for boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, pumps, and piping in large facility operations, including education, healthcare, industrial, government and commercial customers.
